Mally Beauty Evercolor Poreless Face Defender Review

While I always use a makeup primer, I do not use a makeup finisher. I have only tried a few finishing products and just was not impressed with them in the past. I think all the ones I used was a powder, and powder typically just does not work for my skin.  Mally Beauty has a finishing primer, but it is oh so much more than just that. It is called the Evercolor Poreless Face Defender. One of the best things about it is that it is not a powder.

The product is kept in a pink square case that flips open. When it is opened, the product is on the bottom and a mirror is on the inside lid. A large white triangular sponge comes with the product as well. The sponge is not stored in the compact, which I am fine with. If there was the ability to store the sponge in the compact, the compact would turn pretty bulky. So when I take this product on the go, I either just throw it into my travel cosmetic bag or a plastic baggy.

The feel of this product is like nothing I have used before. It is basically a gel. Using this product correctly is very important. If not, makeup will be removed and no one will be happy if that happens. So to use it, I take the sponge and swirl it around and do a few dabs to get the product on the sponge. Then I dab the product onto my face which is the key. You have to dab and not rub it. As long as I dab, the sponge stays completely white and my makeup is not disturbed, which I think is amazing.

I have been using this product for about the past two weeks. I use it after I applied all my makeup to keep everything looking fresh. My favorite thing about this product is the way it controls my oil. I will not use a power to control my oil, because I do not like the way the power looks. I have oil sheets, but I do not feel comfortable using those in public. I love using this product because it is like applying powder to my face, but it isn’t powder at all.

This product works magic when it comes to oil control. Midway through the day my skin will be very oily and I have to do something about it. I dab the product on to my face and I can just see my face instantly becoming less shiny. The product is very matte and just absorbs my oil perfectly. After a few dabs, my face isn’t oily at all. It really works wonders.

The product feels so light on my skin and smoothes out my face as well. When I use Mally’s Perfect Prep Poreless Primer Glow with the Evercolor Poreless Face Defender my pores look almost nonexistent. It keeps my makeup on all day long until I decide it should come off. My shine is kept in control with this product. This product is a must for me and I am so glad to have found it.
