Pacific Illusions Beauty - Eyeshadow Palette Review & Giveaway

   

If you were to ask me “if you could be anywhere in the world, where would you be?”, I would more than likely say at the beach. The beach is so beautiful and relaxing and living so far away from it makes me always want to be there. Sitting here typing this, I would love more than anything to be swimming in the ocean or just laying out on a beach chair. Well here is a cosmetic company called Pacific Illusions Beauty that is inspired by the most beautiful oceans and resorts in the world. This company features rich shades and high quality makeup. 

There are a few features of Pacific Illusions that I really like. All of their products are made in the USA. Their products are never tested on animals and are cruelty free, which I think is very important. The products are also hypo-allergenic and paraben free. Their makeup is all mineral based which then allows the color to be suitable for any skin color. Plus the wonderful thing about this makeup is you can create a subtle look with using just a touch of makeup, but then the more applied the bolder the look is. 

 Pacific Illusions sells seven different blush shades each with beachy names. I was able to try their Blossom Mineral Blush. The blush easily spread over my cheeks to give me a nice glow. It blended very nicely and looked very natural. It also helped to create a nice contoured look. This blush is long lasting and there is no need to reapply throughout the day.This is just a pretty color.

Pacific Illusions has a lovely selection of lip sticks and lip glosses. I tried one of their lip gloss in the color called Hermosa. This is a girly pink, shimmery lip gloss. The tube has a very chic look. The brush is very unique. It reminds me of a mini nail polish brush or paint brush. The brush design makes applying the lip gloss very easy. The Hermosa lip gloss is a peachy coral color that is mixed with shimmer. I love the color on my lips. My lips also feel very moisturized after I apply the gloss, which is rare for me since most products have the opposite effect. Between the pretty color, brush design, and moisturizing factor, this is one great lip gloss. 

When it comes to eyeshadow, I love palettes as opposed to individual colors. The reason for that is because that way I know the colors are complimentary and will look gorgeous together. I am so excited, because Pacific Illusions has really created a great palette. 

I tried their Tropical Escape Pressed Mineral Eye Shadow palette. This one features five unique colors. It is gently enriched with lavender aromatherapy. It also contains Micro-fine natural light diffusing minerals that occur in nature and enhance the skin. The palette itself is black, has a nice long mirror which, and has a high quality brush to apply the eyeshadow. The eyeshadow also has the ability to be used as eyeliner if it is moistened. With these 5 colors I have the option to go with a more bold look with the enchanting blue color or I could go with a more subdued look with the tans/creams.

The eyeshadow is highly pigmented, which means a little bit of color will go a long way. Plus as I said earlier, I have the option of creating a lighter or darker look depending on how much color I use.   

I love the Pacific Illusions makeup products that I was able to try.  These are high beauty quality products that do wonders for my skin and looked stunning on my skin. I would recommend all three products that I tried!
