Well, last week I sent in a request to join Pinterest. They accepted me today and I am in LOVE with the site. I only have really looked at the fitness section. Here is some motivation and inspiration to keep eating healthy and working out.

 5. How much my shins can hurt: Yesterday and the day before yesterday it has been so unusually warm where I love (Illinois). Never before in January had I been able to go outside in sweats and a t-shirt. So for an hour each day I mostly walked but jogged some as well. My shins were not use to all that walking and jogging. They are still hurting today. They hurt even when I am just walking around the house today. I am going to do a cardio machine today, to give them a break.

I love the internet, because it makes finding the best price for something a piece of cake. It takes just a few clicks to discover the lowest price out there for items, especially high priced ones. Car shopping is definitely something you want to research. I never like going to car dealerships, because I feel pressured and I just do not know if the price is good or not (even though the salesmen will tell you it’s a bargain). Never Too Late to Think About Going Into the Nursing Field!

My mom is a nurse, but to be honest I never really considered being one as well. I do not know why. Only reason I can think of is because my mom never tried to push any profession on me. She always wanted me to pick something that I wanted and she never tried to influence me. And besides her, I did not have any exposure to nursing. So right now, I am taking night classes to become an accountant.

When I think about it though, going into the nursing profession seems to be a great idea. With people living so much longer and the Baby Boomers maturing, more and more nurses seem to be needed. Where I live, there is a constant nurse shortage. Two weeks ago, I had to go to the ER with a family member. One of the nurses was explaining how she has been working more than 40 hours a week, because there is such a shortage at the hospital. Hospitals and clinics are always hiring nurses. My city’s newspaper is filled with help wanted ads.  The last I checked the unemployment rate was around 9%. However, with the huge demand for nurses, the unemployment rate for them is not as high. And the pay is also great as well!
